This photo was part of an article from a magazine. It may have been related to Ringling Bros or Clyde Beatty?? It was from the early 1950’s.

This is a Conover photo sent by Bob Cline. Can you give me a little more info on this float?

Mel was truly one of the best for his type of act. I only know of one other great unicyclist, my friend Don Philips.

Roger Smith took the time to a lash and send a twisted stock. The workmanship detail is perfect and the lash is the same type that Clyde Beatty used in his cat act. I can’t tell you how proud I am to now have this in my collection of circus memorabilia. Thanks again Roger.

Ward Hall 4th person from left. You might call this a “Donacker Photo”. I couldn’t help it! 🙂

If anyone has a video of Henry’s Chimps, I would be grateful if you could send me a copy. In all the years of performing, we never took any ourselves, however I do know that many were. circus fans and performers did take some. Many thanks, Ivan

I do not believe this person is a circus performer. Perhaps just an interesting man with a lot of goats.
