Olgie Zavatta worked his dog act with a tremendous amount of excitement, as seen here. He was a mater prop builder and no matter what act he did, which were many, all were done with perfection.

The Zavatta’s created their circus in the late 1950’s after they left the Siebrand Circus.

Johnny Zoppe and his wife. Johnny Zoppe is the haft brother of Olgie Zavatta. This has to be one of the most unique unsupported ladder acts I have ever seen. See comment by Carol Philips.

This photo was included with others that Gino Zavatta gave me for the circus blog. Hopefully someone may know this gentleman and will be able to give me some information about this. On the back of the photo was the De Bob Hodepon. The contraption is most likely a homemade portable slack wire.
