There is a story line here. It may have been a little of the temperament that was part of Mr. Barnum’s life philosophy…..I am just guessing but he was a collector of things of interest.

The paper is so fragile and is easily torn if you’re not careful. I have a friend who deals in old works of art and understands how to preserve these old new sprints. I just got this ad today 3-29-10. This little bit of history is one hundred and thirty seven years old.
