P.T Barnum 1881 “War Chariot of India”. United States presidents presented on top. This may have been the drawing plans for the construction of this wagon. I do not have an actual photo.

This is an actual photo of P.T. Barnum’s 1873 orchestra band wagon. “Orchestmelachor” Bob Cline has named this wagon correctly in his comment. A must read. Thanks Bob.

The notes say P.T. Barnum American Museum….. there were no dates. Is it possible that this along with the other illustrations were destroyed in the fire? I discovered that the fire took place July 13, 1865.

This is a photo of an illustration of the 1881 Golden Horse Band Wagon. Here again very little information. It surely is fine art with a great deal of imagination.
