  This tableau is known as the Elephant Tusk. It was sometimes called the Siam Tableau. I have no date on it and as you can see the negative has a few holes in it.

This heavily carved tableau’s name is Spain. The year is 1896.  Seated on top a clown band. I believe is a matador painting in the center of the carving.
