This was a promotional photo hand out that advertised the 1960 Beatty Cole Bros show. There are those that talk about great cat trainers but they don’t come any better than this man nor of his showmanship…… the one and only Clyde Beatty.

Dave Hoover took over the cat act after Clyde Beatty became sick with cancer and then passed away in 1964.

This a photo of a poster that I have. It is very large and had been folded in order to send it to me for the circus blog. The date it was used is unknown to me but I am guessing late 1940’s and maybe into the 1950’s.
