Mom and Dad did a television show with these guys. As a young man, I stood in the stage wings watching their act. They were one of the funniest musical comedy acts that I have ever seen.

When we started our fair season Big Pete Siebrand would hire extra acts that were part of our grandstand shows. I never missed a Lowe, Hite and Stanley performance….they were a comedian’s comedy act. Henry Hite stood at 7 foot 9 inches.

He not only was a fine ventriloquist, but he had another talent. During World War Two as he entertained all over Europe, He did espionage for the US. My mother was very proud and happy when she was booked on the Orpheum circuit from Los Angeles to Boston. The Toni Madison dog act was a headliner in the show.

This is a mystery photo found in my mother’s scrapbook. No name or show, but it has to be the late 1800s. By the looks of the dummies and the stage back ground a vaudeville act.
