I posted this letter and card from Roger because of the memories these names that brought back to me. I hope it does the same for you.
A Circus Story
Posted By thecircusblog on October 16, 2013
Mike Cappi and I have been friends for the passed 25 or more years. It all started on the Great London Circus in the early 1970’s. Mike was working props at that time. He had never traveled with a circus before but no one saw that he was a first of May. Mike had a zeal for the business, learned fast and genuinely cared for the circus which is why I hired him when I took Henry Bros Circus on the road. He became an asset and a great investment for my show and later for Legend City. As time went on, we grew to be good friends. This photo was taken a few weeks ago in Sedona, Arizona.

Zellmar Circus. This photo comes from the Bertha Conner Collection.
Russell Bros Circus

Here again is another photo from the Henry Conner collection. I am guessing that these pictures among others you have and will see were shot by my aunt Bertha or Jimmy Conner. I think this is this Sell Bros Circus. The performers names are unknown to me.

I am almost certain that this is the Russell Bros Circus. Al, Bertha and Jimmy Conner were with this show at the time this photo was taken.
Christy Bros

I believe this is the Christy Bros Circus? The lady with the horse is unknown to me. My Aunt Bertha and Uncle Al Conner were with this circus for a season or two. Perhaps that is why this photo is in the Henry Conner collection.
