This performers name is unknown to me it was taken by my aunt Bertha Henry Conner, mid 1930’s. Might be Russell Bros or Al. G. Barnes. There even is a possibility of J.E Henry Big Show.

Escalante Ladies

From left to right. Angelita, Milonga, Johnny Cline was her husband. Betty Phillip’s wife and Lorena Blackie wife. I spoke with Milonga just a few days ago and told her that I was sending this photo to her. I will call her today to see if she got it. 10-30-13………………. She did. Milonga told me that the photo was taken in 1938 on the Hagenbeck & Wallace Circus.

His clown name was Tata. He was the grandfather of the Escalante family. Milonga, Blackie and so on. I believe this photo was taken in Mexico.
