What a treat it was to hear live music for the acts…….. I hate canned music for a circus. Somehow something is lost when the music is not live.

This act closed the show and believe me they kept the audience on the edge of there seats. These two brothers are skilled performers, no question in my mind that they may be one of the best . The double wheels rotating while doing their routines with never a slow down unless to sell a trick.

Many years ago Bill Capell and I went to visit the show. We sat by the band and like two little kids, we watched one of the best of performances of any circuses in this country. It is a shame that the old American circus is gone. 1977.

I can’t remember how many times I worked on the big tops similar to this one. As I sit and think about it from start to finish, I do remember how to put a big top up and if asked to do so today….No problem.
