Harmonica Rascals

Mom and Dad did a television show with these guys. As a young man, I stood in the stage wings watching their act. They were one of  the funniest musical comedy acts that I have ever seen.

Maricopa County Fair 2003. I wanted to pay tribute to the Native Americans people in Arizona, as well as the Southern and Northern tribes. The local native people donated their time to create a native village to display their different cultures. We were successful in hosting 15 different tribes.

Herbie Webber was famous for his “Slide for Life.” He also did a tight wire act. Herbie was a great showman….he did a bit in his act where he fell from the wire as he attempted to jump over an umbrella. The fall, of course, caught every one’s attention. He would attempt it again and succeed. On many occasions I saw a standing ovation.
