What a great lady and performer. Malikova did a single high wire act and she did all the tough tricks. I believe that she was related to the Welinda family. We worked together at the Phoenix State Fair 1964 .I have more info on Malikova ……..SEE COMMENT BLOW. Thanks to Joanne and PeeWee Pinson.

In the mid 80’s, I was producing community fairs for Larry Davis. By accident this photo was triple exposed, but he liked it so much he aske me to use it in advertising. The name of the ride is “Wave Swinger”.

A Funny Clown

Posted By on January 6, 2009

Linda Hulet was hired for the Maricopa County Fair 2004. She did a great job.

I just got an email 7-4-13 that this photo is not of Linda Hulet. If not perhaps the person that sent the email might research for this clowns name.

Linda Hulet ?

One of the funniest clowns that I have ever seen. She can work a crowd like no other.

I just received a comment that this photo is not of Linda Hulet? In this blog there are other photos of her and the clown make up is alike. Maybe the person who made the comment could send me a photo or for that matter name this person.

Glen Campbell

Posted By on January 6, 2009

Glen Campbell appeared at Legend City, Tempe, AZ, 1976  A special stage was built for this show. Through out the years we used this stage for many performers and events. Jess Nix, Stevie Nix’s father, took over all the future productions named Compton  terrace. After Legend City closed in 1983, the stage was moved to Firebird Lake, Chandler, AZ. Jess continued to produce shows there for quite some time. Where Legend City once stood, is now numerous office buildings.

I just heard today in our local news, 2-18-12 that Glen has Alzheimer’s. I am sadden by this news.
