I don’t think you could find a better matched or better trained group of ponies. This is a 6 abreast line up which would move in unison left and right and then reverse within the ring. It was beautiful to watch.
La Fontain

La Fontain was their stage name. They are from the Canestrelli family, an Italian circus family. Tosca is on the right and Chi Chi is in the center. The last time we worked together was on the Hubert Castle Circus in the 60’s.
La Fontain Sisters

The Fontain Sister did a unsupported ladder act… all eyes were upon them as they performed it. Indeed it was a beautiful act.The last time I saw them was in 1966 with the Hubert Castle Show. My cousin Shirley Henry tells me that Chi Chi is with the Atayde Circus. As of 12-19-11.
