This once was a letter, however somehow the ink has faded. The letter came from the John Polacsek collection.

I see in many of Marie’s letters that she tells it like it is and pulls no punches. I get a kick out of the names that I recognize from past years.
John Polacsek collection.

There are several more letters that follow. I am sure that you will find them filled with humor and old history along with memories from the past.

Marie Henry was the type of person that wrote to all of her friends. I am so happy that she did as they would have never have been found or collected. The circus fan that came across them is John Polacsek. I really do not know how he came by them, that’s not important. He has recently passed them on to me for the circus blog………………. Thank you ever so much John.

This photo of Roger was taken in 1968 at Jungleand, Thousand Oaks, Calif. Thanks Roger for sending me your personal letters and circus programs. I am sure the circus bloggers will enjoy them. This photo was taken after his cat act.

James Bros was the first show that Sid Kellner owned. Later the name was changed to George Matthew’s Great London Circus. After his sons George and Matthew.
