Perri Andre was a feature on the Yankee Patterson Circus and the Esclante Circus. Perri did have two other dancers with him in the act. He also did a tight wire act. I remember him only because he would watch over me when my mother and father were performing. Spanish and Mexican dancers were very popular in the 40’s.

Another project of Bills was this white Calliope wagon. He had a talent for restoring old show wagons. He said it was his hobby. I believe he was keeping  circus history alive.

Bill Capell was always buying old circus equipment. He then would restore it, play with it for a while, as this was his hobby and he enjoyed every minute of it. Much of the show wagons were either sold or donated and then Bill would start all over again on a new project.
