Hugo’s coat was sent to me by Ralph Gasser. I then looked up an old friend, Pat Zacchini and told her that I had her father’s coat and would send it to her. As of 1/27/16 the circus coat is in Pat’s hands, I am indeed happy that I could do this for her. Many thanks are given to Ralph Gasser for sending Hugo’s coat to me so that I was able to return it to the Zacchini family.

In 1976 to 1982 Wallace and Ladmoe did their popular TV kid show at Legend City. They did a personal appearance each and every Sunday afternoon. Their regular show was each night on Chanel 5 here in Phoenix, Ariz. No question they brought the crowds, even the adults enjoyed their one liners that most times went over the heads of the children. There was a third member of the act, Gerald. Gerald was the trouble maker of the act. When Gerald (Pat McMahon) came on stage the kids went nuts…. the boos were loud. To give you a better idea of what the show was about, go to Ladmoe Wallace Gerald site. You definitely get a kick out of it. Sorry to say that Ladmoe and Wallace are no longer with us. They are missed by the young and old alike.

I believe the person on the left is Fred Logan? To his right is Buckles. Please make a comment. I think that this photo was taken in the mid to late 1950’s.
I just got an email from Don Covington. The man on the left is William Woodcock Sr. Thanks Don.

Mel was truly one of the best for his type of act. I only know of one other great unicyclist, my friend Don Philips.

Cole Bros Clyde Beatty Circus parade. 1936, Hard to make out Sept 23, or the person that took this photo. It was taken Los Angeles, Calif. I must say it is a good photo and a collectable. Please see if you can identify other information.
Thanks John Shepherd for your comment on the correct date. I had 1903.
