Circus Parade Charoit

Posted By on December 8, 2011

Here again is a perfect example of a photo with no information. My apologies. I can only guess on, WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and hope that someone can make an ID . I believe it is the Clyde Beatty circus in the mid 1940’s. The name of the parade wagon is unknown to me. The design or style of the wagon is Egyptian, THIS MAY BE A GOOD CLUE.

I think this photo too was taken on the Clyde Beatty circus in the mid 1940’s. In the bottom left corner there is a name, Queen Balkis Car. Hopefully someone will make a comment.

I have three photos that I am unable to identify. If this photo was taken in 1919 or before the circus is Barnum & Bailey and the elephant might be Chief? ……………..Bob Cline HELP……………Thank you Bob for the comment.

                                                              It is a must read.

Another comment by Fred Neil. Thanks Mr. Fell for your comment.

A wonderful old circus photo. Many of the photos I have in my collection have very little or no information on them. I plead with you. The new generation of circus folk and circus fans, put what ever information you may have on the back of your photos. Names and dates are so very important for our future circus history. The day may come when all we will have left is our history.

Bob Cline, Thank for your help.   Read comment by Fred Neill.
