Special Note from Ivan

I think perhaps I should explain why so many of these performers names I am unfamiliar with. In the fall of 1979 I lost all of my chimps to a disease called Valley Fever, which at that time was deadly to primates. Because of this, I was out of the circus business throughout the 19800, 1990sand into 2000’s I did stay in the business by producing shows for fairs and amusement parks management. During this time I also shot four documentaries so not all was lost, but to this day I miss my chimps and of course the circus. Thanks for helping me to get information on the following photos

I do notice that there are differences in the ring curbs in these photos. However this can change from season to season and might not help to name the circus.

I don’t believe this is the Bentley circus. It may be Rudy Bros Circus? Does anyone know the ringmasters name. Tommy was with Rudy before he produced his own show.
Thanks Tom for your comment.
I just found out that it is the Bentley circus, thanks to Lori.
Rudy Bros or Bentley Bros ?

Both shows seem to have the same colors, red and white. The ring curbs are different in design. Only a performer would know. Tommy was the ringmaster on Rudy’s show for a season or two.
Thanks Norman for your comment.
