Pit Show: a side show on the circus mid-way, where the audience looks into the pit for the exhibit….some pit shows were snake shows, alligator shows etc.
Siebrand Bros Elephants

Photo taken in the 1950’s. I don’t remember this trainers name. For over 45 years acts came and went on the Siebrand Circus……some played for only one season. It was a good place to brake in a new act for the bigger circuses. Our family performed with the Siebrand circus numerous seasons from 1947 to1965.
