This banner was used for the 5th Generation of Henry Bros Circus, starting in 1976 through 1980. Solon Henry and Gabriel Henry are the 5th generation of Henry Bros.

This poster….and it could be used as mailer is from the late 1800’s and was given to me by a circus fan. He had this poster in his circus collection it is the only one in existence. It is framed and hangs on my office wall.

Captain Ed Widamen

Ed Widamen and his elephant Zeta. It was protocol for animal trainers to put “Captain” in front of their names. On the Microphone is Don Ray he was the organist and some times M C.This photo was taken early 1951’s on Siebrand Bros. Circus.

This is a picture of the pow wow grounds that Mom and Dad visited in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Among the tribes there were the Lakota, Sioux, Blackfoot and northern Cherokee.

Indian Tepee

Another Alberta, Canada shot taken with my mother, Mary Henry, in front of an Indian Tepee. My mother was born in Ponoka, Canada on the Indian reservation. Her father William B. Piggeott was an Indian agent. My Grandfather was commissioned to do this work by Queen Victoria of England.

Studio Shot

Jackie and Mary Henry posing in the studio  for a TV show on KTLA, Channel 5, Hollywood, CA. Henry’s Chimps started with my Mom. She did a single act with Jackie for quite some time. Later my Dad took over, Then he got more Chimps and he put me into the act. We would work 4 to 6 chimps it all depended on the show area.
