This man could do more comedy in one ring than three clowns in three rings. His talent came to him naturally and he loved every moment in the arena and the audience loved him. I am proud to have had him as my friend. I remember Dave was always saying , I sure would like to have a chimp for my show. I would constantly try to talk him out of it, because chimps can get tuff. I acquired a Little three year old female chimp, that I could not use in the act. The little chimp did six tricks and she didn’t have a mean bone in her body. This little girl was a one in a million chimp, there was only one thing to do and that was to answer my friends wish. Dave Toomey got little Cathy, she was a gift from Henry’s Chimps.

The magic act was after the chimp act and there was a rush for me to get across stage to get to the gag that moved the silk threat that make the hankie float. I am most likely the only chimp man that can do magic.

Not too long ago a gentleman by the name of Alan Schwartz sent me this brochure cover and inside were these wonderful photos with one letter head, all will follow on the next pages. I believe this act was in the late 40’s or early 50’s.

This was an extraordinary aerial act. I vaguely remember seeing this many years ago.
