The Royal Rockets were noted for having the finest roller skating acrobatic act in the business. We worked with them in the mid 50’s on Siebrand Bros. Circus. John Carson was the lead skater in the act. His sister and her husband were part of the trio. They settled in Phoenix, AZ and John joined the IATSE Stage Hand Union local 336. He became the secretary/treasurer and remained in that position until his late 80’s. We remain friends to this day.

Ray Chandler was one of the best, all around animal men in the country. He worked in many motion pictures such as “Humps” and “Dr. Doolittle”. He also had his own animal acts. This picture was supplied by his daughter Janice.

Bruce did it all when it came to high acts including a trapeze and rings routine and a one arm hand stand. He closed with a sway pole. He would sway so deep it would put the audience on the edge of their seats.
