Bucky Steel presenting his elephant in a one leg stand.  I’m not sure what circus or year this was taken at. The last time I worked with him was on the Gatti Charles Circus in the 1960’s.

Bob Hofmeister was one of a kind. He created a fine 8 h0rse liberty drill that captured your attention with it’s great Native American wardrobe and professional training. He got his daughter Joanne in the act and soon after Bob  broke a mule liberty act, as well as a burro act. Joanne was successful with her own liberty act.

Bob had a great sense of  humor, so I guess he wouldn’t mind if I said he looked a little “pale face”  in this photo…..Now ain’t that a peach. (This punch line would only be understood by old time cowboys like Bob)
