I first met Danny and Trina on the Siebrand Bros circus in the early 1950’s. Danny was breaking in a new act for club dates. In those years there was no better place than the Siebrand circus, you could build a new act and get paid too.

Danny and Trina must have done just about every major television show during the 1950’s and 60’s.

Each move they made was graceful and classy. Danny was able to make this look easy because of his tremendous strength.

Danny had a great deal of marketing sense and he put it to work when advertising his act.

Danny would start his routine by climbing up onto the pedestal and elegantly removing his coat, and rolling up his sleeve. He then showed his bare hand and would go in to the one finger stand. Yes, he had a palm gimmick but it was so small it made you wonder. Many a performer, including myself, tried to see how he applied the gimmick and where he put it after the trick. We never could figure it out…. Danny was too slick.

They did the two C’s, from the Circus to Carson, and rightfully so ….they indeed were a great act.
