Los Pinturas Locos, The Crazy Painters and they were crazy. A fast comical routine filled with funny frenzy. A little known fact….. Darryl Ferges perfected a complete summer salt on the trampoline with a pair of full size snow skies. Maybe one day I will fine a photo of this trick.

It’s not just being good at what you do, it is enjoying what you do. The Ferges Troupe had more fun in their act and the audience knew it. That’s what made their acts great. The Ferges family perfected their acts at a young age on the Ted Dewayne circus in the late 1950’s.
Thank you Darryl for your informational comment…… At’s a must read.

A last minute shot as the train pulls out of winter quarters. A friend of mine Bill Capell gave me these photos quite some time ago. Bill Capell took these photos of the circus fans shooting their photos. Bill once said,” I never met a circus I didn’t like.” I many times have used this very quote. On the back of these photo and the two that follow is written …Sarasota 1953.
