The name of this band chariot is”Two Hemisphere”. It is said to be the largest band wagon ever built. It was built for James A. Baily or P.T. Barnum in 1896 and it was pulled with a 40 horse hitch. There is a little controversy about which one it was…. but not on my part. For me it is a work of art. Please make a comment if you know.

It was brought to my attention today that “Prince Bogino” Emanuel Jr. Ruffin passed away on Tuesday 9-14- 10. It is said that he was a protege of Clyde Beatty. Thanks for the comment from William C. Shoop

An animal trainers worst nightmare is to have something like this happen. There were times I would not go on with the chimps if the audience was to close to the ring or stage. Thank God for prop men who keep the people back, often times putting themselves in harms way.
