Chucko was probably the most successful of all the kid T.V. birthday shows and the competition was great. He was a clown that put everything into his act and it paid off for him. His wardrobe and makeup was immaculate. There were those that said he was just a T.V. clown…..NO!  Chucko was circus though and though.  Every chance he got when there was a circus  in town, Chucko would visit and more often then not in wardrobe.

Charles “Chucko” Runyon not only had a kids TV show, he did personnel appearances throughout the Los Angeles area. During the winter when we were off the road and working Christmas shows, it was inevitable that Chucko would be on the bill with us.

Chucko Party House #4

Posted By on October 27, 2011

Chucko had a birthday party house at the Jungleland compound in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The little fellow on the left wearing a band uniform is Randy Runyon,  Chucko’s son, who help his father by entertaining the kids.

Thank you Janice for the comment.
