Head Balancing Chimp #2

I hate to admit it but I never saw this act and for that matter I don’t know the name of the act. I can tell you this, this chimp is unbelievable. In this photo ….while in his balance he is drinking from a glass. The photo was shot sometime in the early 1950’s.  I will add this little guy to my memory of of great chimps from other acts…………… I am sure someone will make a comment on the name.

Thank you Billie Lou Henderson for your comment. I must say much needed and informative. Now we have the names. Thanks again…….IVAN

Here Tusko is behaving himself but still could not be trusted. He finely became a resident of the Woodland Park Zoo, where he spent the rest of his life.

Black Diamond

Black Diamond, an Al G. Barnes elephant was condemned to death because he had killed and no longer could be trusted with people.

I get alot of emails asking questions about different circus elephants. I am knowledgeable to a certain extent on this matter, but I would like to direct you to someone I believe is the most informed on this topic  and has made his life training elephants……. Bill Buckles Woodcock.   He can be found on” Buckles blog” or on my circus blog under Blogroll.I am sure he can answer all of your questions…….Sincerely IVAN M. Henry.
