Front Gate to the Show

The front gate of the Siebrand Bros. Circus and Carnival. They boasted about their one mile midway. At the back of the midway was the circus consisting of 2 rings and a 30 x 40 stage. The stage and scenery was built by Cliff Henry in 1949.

Koko and Grace did numerous clown numbers. They also teamed up with Harry Ross. The funniest part about Koko and Grace is that KoKo could not hear, and Grace had to yell at him on the stage to direct as to what to do next. The audience loved them.

Harry began working in vaudeville with a hand balancing chair and table act. It wasn’t until later that he started doing the same act only as a clown. Helene perfomes rings, traps and a neck swivel on the Siebrand Bros. stage. There were also two circus rings on either side of the stage for ground acts and large animals. Her husband Eddie had a dog act one of three on the circus.
