Uncle Al, Aunt Bertha and Jimmy Conner. The last name Conner was a stage name. Al’s real last name was Covert. Photo was taken in the late 1930’s? The circus could have been Henry Bros. Al and Bertha booked themselves on other shows from time to time.

Right to left Patty, Shirley. Gary, Ethel, and Glen……………….. Sad news. My aunt Ethel Henry passed away 6-20-2o13, at the age of 98. May God bless her. Gary, Shirley Patty and Jimmy Henry are making the funeral arrangements.

My elephant Shorty’s best friend was my son Solon. If I would allow them they would play all day long and never get tired. The mud hole was their favorite spot. Solon would take off Shorty’s chains, grab the water hose and the fun started. Shorty was capable of taking off his own leg chains. […]
