Hagenbeck & Wallace winter quarters in Peru, Indiana 1930. It is said that Clyde would never lay off for any amount of time, maybe a day or two . He was always in practice with his cats if he was not doing shows or publicity shots.

This was a publicity shot for Clyde Beatty’s appearance with Ringling Bros, Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1932. He only appeared just for the New York Madison Square Garden date.
