These photos could have been taken on the Miller Circus or the Dales Circus in the late 1940’s. The photos came from the Tommy Bentley collection.

Tusko was on the Al G. Barnes Circus. There were only a few men that could handle him and even then it was a chore. There are great stories about Tusko. Just go onto internet and enter his name or Al G. Barnes. Great history.

Here Tusko is behaving himself but still could not be trusted. He finely became a resident of the Woodland Park Zoo, where he spent the rest of his life.
