Allen King in 1933 appeared with his cat act “Cage of Fury” in the Standard Oil Co. attraction at the Worlds Fair in Chicago. Allen worked with other shows such as Gollmar Bros, Al G. Barnes Sells Flotto and others.

This picture was taken at the Al G. Barnes winter quarters in Balboa Park. Tusko a few weeks later broke both of his tusks while in musk. Tusko was known as one of the most magnificent circus elephants and even to this day bull men speak of him.

Bert Nelson with one of many of his lions. This little girl’s name is Goldie and she was used in stage shows. Notice his little black pet kitty in his arms. This photo was taken in 1920 at Al G. Barnes winter quarters.
