This act has me in a quandary. I think the show is the Rudy Bros show, sometime in the early 1960’s. I need a little help on this one too. Last moment thought could this be the……….. Vidbel elephant act?

Elmer Hogan was a close friend of Allen King. Allen was a pretty popular person not just because of his being a circus lion trainer. He was personable and enjoyed meeting others who were from a different walk of life.

Bentley Bros Circus 1884. Charles Bentley is standing near the front of the band wagon. There is no relationship to Tommy Bentley that I know of. Tommy was first generation only.

I was very lucky to get this photo. The negative was in ruin. I have no date nor the circus it was on.

I found this photo, along with other circus photos, with his name on the Al G. Kelly Miller. I am hoping that another circus fan will confirm or not.

I have no date on this photo. It it was probably taken in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. I only have two photos of this band wagon: this shot and a close up. John Polacsek made an informative comment. Thank you for your help. IVAN

Close up of band wagon. Who ever shot this photo did a close up…. I used my photo shop to clean it up as best I could. These are the only two photos I have of the Luga Circus.

This hippo den was owned by The Great Wallace Circus. It was made by Sullivan & Eagle Works Peru, Indiana in the very early 1900’s. This photo came from the Bob Cline collection… Thanks Bob.
