Just a little rest between shows. The photo was taken in the mid 1940’s on the Doc Capell Circus. From right to left Dorothy Capell, Lil Barbara Capell and a show girl whose name is unknown to me. Dorothy Capell is the wife of the late Bill Capell Sr.

At Bill Capell’s winter quarters there was always a merry go round to be repaired and Ray Barber was there to paint it. Dorothy Capell always made sure it was done right.

In 1982 I was putting together the Teen Age Fair in Las Vegas, NV For Bill Capell . I needed a strong act, so I called a friend and agent by the name of Dennis Condon. He put me in touch with Wolfman Jack who later became my friend as well. Thanks Dennis.

From Left to Right: Doc, Mame, Bill, Bob and Jack Capell. A great circus family. They later built a carnival with their circus. In 1975 Henry Bros. joined the Capell Bros. show.
